"After repeated request, the front desk guy even said he would but didn’t pass my request to prepare for packages to take breakfast away for my early bus and I ended up delaying the departure by 1h30 for a later bus! This is horrible services. And as I extended this stay, the room ended up without being able to cleaned as there’s no sign for it. So nobody cleaned the room for 3 nights of stay. Spa costs 20€ minimum. No free swimming! Besides that, facilities are good and breakfast is good."

"Four stars in a complex of buildings without an elevator to the second floor, a full-length mirror is missing, the breakfast was very good and complete, but of course, next to the whole complex, it was overcrowded. Clean, nice and spacious"

"The beautiful hotel is in the heart of the city, in a distance from the station and from the bus station. The hotel has everything, a refrigerator, a stove, very convenient if you come for a few days with your family. The only thing that cleaning apartments happens once a week is , it is little, but if you ask the staff, they are very responsive and will solve all the questions . I stop not the first time and very satisfied. Every time there are some innovations- recently opened spa and good prices for procedures, and if you want you can order breakfast with delivery of €12 good enough breakfast. I recommend"

"Very spacious rooms right in Old Town with super single beds! The staff was super friendly and recommended us to visit the St Peter’s Cathedral next door and it was such a beautiful place to get a bird’s eye view of old town. However the toilet had a strange stench for some reason. Would have been better if the TVs are smart TVs. But still a great place overall."

"That was the second time I stayed in this beautiful hotel. The staff was kind and friendly, the room was spacious, clean and bright. The location is perfect, in the heart of the old city. The train station is in 10 min walking, there are shops and supermarkets near by. Highly recommend!"

"This hotel is fantastic. I have known it since it was called Reval. Everything is exceptional. During the day they offer lemon water available in the lobby and really excellent homemade biscuits. The breakfast is sensational: everything of excellent quality and a free à la carte menu: the avocado toast that you see in the photo is exquisite. Professional staff. Better than this difficult to do."

"Very good suite hotel, good location, a few steps to the heart of the city. The room is good, spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel also has a washing machine dryer for guests to use. Good service, warm and meticulous, especially the front desk Karina received us hard work, helped us take our luggage up and down, arranged check-in, etc., it is worthy of special praise. "Accor management has certain qualities The handsome guy at the counter saw that we were carrying a large suitcase and changed the room that originally required climbing a few stairs to a room with an elevator upstairs. thank you very much! The breakfast was of good quality and we were very satisfied. The hotel has a great atmosphere, a bit like living in a castle, we like this feeling The location is also very good. It is within walking distance from the city center attractions. Just take a slow walk."

CColinBeautifully restored heritage building in the center of old Riga. The classic feature of the original architecture have been preserved and complimented with a modern interior design with clean Nordic style. Rooms have a foldout sofa bed, great for families. Breakfast is simple but high quality ingredients and attentive staff. Recommend the fresh croissants and salmon and raspberry smoothies. Location in center of old town on a charming street just close enough to great restaurants and bars but quiet enough to get a good sleep.

Unlucky with room allocation as we got an internal joinable room, where next door was talking loudly until late at night. Location suitability will vary per group, it is slightly out of the main centre, but not too far you can't walk. Plan ahead if you drive, they provide a carpark for additional cost, or you can park on the street outside of normal hours

GGuest UserAn extraordinary building ; one of the most architecturally impressive hotels in which I can remember staying, with wonderfully helpful staff and a location that can not be bettered -- with a commendable breakfast. Five stars ! But then . . . Beautifully configured and equipped rooms but, constraints on urban buildings being what they are, and the architects having elected a stunning central skylit air- and light-well, our room, at least, had no window. Where was one to be placed, after all ? The air-conditioning worked well, but truly fresh air was not available. The housekeeping staff had neglected the bathroom attached to the room that we used. Hair, a cotton-tipped applicator stick, and -- simply -- dirt were on the tiles. This can happen. It was very different from the rest of the experience of the stay. But there it was. Have a look around when you check in. Ask for a repeat cleaning of your room if you think one is necessary. Enjoy your stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel has value for money in the old town area of Riga. Check in was smooth and we were able to get into our room quickly to drop off our bags and get to Arena Riga for an ice hockey game with limited time to get there. The location is very central to the sites of Riga's old town and there are some very good restaurants nearby. There are quite a few convenience stores and souvenir shops nearby but they close fairly early. The hotel has a very interesting feeling to it with exposed brick walls and original/restored wood beams and stairs. We appreciated that it also had an elevator to get to the top floor we stayed on. We booked the twin room and had a pleasant stay and the room was quiet enough to get a good night's rest despite the bars nearby. The beds were comfy but the pillows were a little thin. The room had a fully stocked mini bar with decent prices which would help if we got desperate for drinks. There was a large wardrobe and a small work desk in the room too. There were also plugs conveniently placed around the room so we could get all our devices charged. The bathroom was quite large and we appreciated the hot shower and towel warmer. They provide handsoap and a body/hair gel for the shower. The rooms have air conditioning and the windows open to help with the stuffiness. The twin rooms have a slanted ceiling so my short wife had the bed on the slanted side and had no issues. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the variety of food brought out both mornings. They had hot items which changed a bit each day and included an egg omelette, bacon, potatoes, a Latvian pancake and sausages. There was a good spread of cold items too and we are sure a vegetarian would be satisfied with the offerings of vegetables, cheeses, devilled eggs and fruit. The coffee machine made a very good hot chocolate and they also provided juice and water with breakfast. There is a bar behind the check in counter that is open to hotel guests and a nice seating area in the lobby too if you're looking for something more later. There is a sauna at the hotel but we weren't sure if it was open during our stay or what time it did open because there were no hours posted and we didn't get a chance to ask the staff. There is very limited free parking near the hotel and it seemed like the same local parked in front of the hotel each day. We would recommend taking the bus from the airport if you have the time but if you're in a hurry Bolt is pretty affordable in Riga to get around. There are car rentals north of the hotel and Bolt works in old town to book electric scooters and cars which was pretty convenient during our visit in Riga.

Check in was perfect and helpful with city map provided. Kettle, cups, sachet tea and coffee are provided, shampoo, hand soap, tissue paper, shower cap were provided in the bathroom. Would be good if they provided body lotion and hair conditioner. Sadly, the power plugs at the desk does not fit a travel adaptor and there are no usb ports. The single bed was right next to the curtain and a mirror is right in front of the bed, very weird room design. There’s a safe deposit box in the room. Do remember to bring your own slippers as no room slippers are provided.

GGuest UserCentral hostel was simply wonderful. It was very clean, quiet and peaceful. The staff were fantastic and very helpful, especially Alana who gave me lots of good advice and information to help me find my way about and where to go and what to see. The owners have added a lot of lovely homely elements to the hostel. You really feel at home there. The outside courtyard has been created beautifully with pots of flowers and hanging baskets. There are seating areas outside in the courtyard too. This is the best hostel! My room at was fantastic, a comfortable bed, storage and lots of room.

MMeganGreat location for me as I love looking at local markets and the central market was a 10 minute walk away. Old town is much further as is the art nouveau streets however. It had a few dust bunnies behind the door, but overall very clean. Unfortunately, the toilet smelled of sewerage and the scent permeated the room. Still, the heater ran warm and no problems with the water temperature. Bed a little too soft so not for those with back pain. Decent breakfast with good croissants and sausage selection. Front desk was helpful and lent me an adapter to check if my charger was still working or if it was a cable issue. Overall smooth check in and out.

GGuest UserThe pluses: The room was super clean. The location is easy to get to the airport, bus terminal, downtown. And there is a small restaurant nearby with nice selection on the menu. The stuff is helpful and friendly. The minuses: The room is worn out. It needs a vacation or an upgrade. (But remember, it was still super clean!!!) The kitchen area is just scary. And I am not gonna add more descriptions to that. Nevertheless, I am greaful to have that scary kitchen. I was getting a cold, and it helped a lot to have the ability to boil the water several times for my throat. Will I stay there again? Yes. Because all I needed is a clean place to sleep and take a shower.
